Compliance with authorizer, state and federal regulations is an important but cumbersome charter school management task. CS Partners will work directly with the academy’s leadership and clerical staff to assure that this process is completed in a way that is efficient and that does not distract from the main task of instruction. CS Partners has years of experience keeping charter school boards in compliance with regulations and will apply that experience to assist your academy.

CS Partners provides support to the Academy Board of Directors by creating agendas with Board and School Leader input; producing required annual organizational meeting documentation; creating postings, minutes and resolutions; facilitating Board communication including the scheduling of special meetings; preparing board meeting packets; submitting all required documentation of Board meetings in accordance with authorizer requirements; and ensuring full compliance with the Open Meetings Act. CS Partners also facilitates correspondence with the authorizer and other tasks as needed to ensure compliance with the myriad of charter contract and legal requirements.

CS Partners also creates, maintains and distributes a monthly compliance calendar to all of our schools. We stay abreast of all changes and updates to be completed by schools to stay in compliance with federal and state governments as well as the school’s authorizer.

We pride ourselves on maintaining positive relationships with School Leaders, Board members and Academy authorizers, while ensuring compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, Open Meetings Act, Uniform Budget and Accounting Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Michigan Department of Education, Michigan Department of Treasury, US Department of Education and Treasury as well as the school’s authorizer.
