Brighton, Mich., Jan. 16, 2018 – Educational service provider, CS Partners, announced the promotion of Chris Matheson to Senior Vice President this week. Matheson was hired in May 2017 as Director of School Performance at CS Partners.
“Chris has proven to be a most valuable leader in a short period of time at CS Partners. His dedication to leadership development, school performance and the maintenance of a positive work environment has been a great asset”, said President Mary Kay Shields.
Upon receiving his promotion, Chris said “I am humbled by the trust CS Partners places in me and I am incredibly thankful to be a member of such an outstanding team. I look forward to our continued growth and improvement as we strive to provide the best service possible to our schools.”
Matheson worked in various roles in the field of education for 18 years prior to joining CS Partners last year. He earned a bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan–Flint, a Master of Arts in History from the University of Alabama, an Education Specialist degree from Oakland University, and is finishing work on a doctorate in educational leadership at the University of Michigan–Flint.
